Pawleys Island: Harriet Peterman Gotwals, 90, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Mrs. Gotwals was born January 8, 1921 in Chester, Pa., a daughter of John Peterman and Helen Firth Peterman. She was a former member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Dillon. Mrs. Gotwals was predeceased by her husband, James E. Gotwals and a daughter, Donna Gotwals. Surviving are: two daughters, Linda Gotwals of Little River and Anita Gotwals Graves (Geoffrey) of Columbia; a sister, Helen Baker (Tommy) of Media, Pa.; a grandson, Timothy Graves and granddaughter, Stephanie Graves Swann.
