Andrews:
Hazel Edwards Watts, 86, died Friday, March 25, 2006, at Prince George Healthcare Center in Georgetown.
Mrs. Watts was born in White Plains, Ga., a daughter of the late Dudley Hayes Edwards and Susie Stewart Edwards. She moved to Andrews as a teenager and graduated from Andrews High School. Mrs. Watts worked at the Red & White and Piggly Wiggly in Andrews for a time. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews.
Mrs. Watts was predeceased by: her husband, James Pershing Watts; a brother, Hugh W. "Skeet" Edwards; and a sister, Mary Katherine E. Heins.
Surviving are: three daughters, Gail W. Smith and Ann W. Carter, both of Andrews, and Pat W. Lucyshyn of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren, Meredith S. Carter of Andrews, William J. Moore, IV and W. Adam Smith, both of Myrtle Beach, and Katherine M. Smith of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be three o'clock Tuesday afternoon, March 28, 2006, at the graveside in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
