Andrews:
Henry Samuel Byrdic, Sr., 81, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at his residence in the Suttons community of Williamsburg Co.
Mr. Byrdic was born in the Suttons Community on September 22, 1926, a son of the late William D. Byrdic and Garena Bernice David Byrdic. He served in the Army during World War II and was a retired farmer and carpenter. Mr. Byrdic was a member of Suttons United Methodist Church and served his church as lay leader.
Surviving are: his wife, Frances B. Byrdic of Andrews; three sons, Jimmy E. (Elizabeth) Byrdic, Billy B. (Louise) Byrdic, and Sammy (Dale) Byrdic, all of Andrews; two daughters, Ina Lane of Goose Creek and Van (Charles) Cribb of Andrews; two brothers, Clyde Byrdic of Columbia and Bobby Lee Byrdic of Lancaster; a sister, Elizabeth Marlow of Jansen Beach, Fla.; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be three o'clock Friday afternoon, January 25, 2008, at Suttons United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Robert Huggins and the Rev. Gary B. Adams. Burial will follow in the Churchyard.
