Georgetown:
Henry Martin "Buck" Daniels, 74, died Friday, September 10, 2004, at his residence.
Mr. Daniels was born in Robersonville, N. C. on September 8, 1930, a son of the late Charles Sidney Daniels and Patsy Ward Daniels Calcutt. He grew up in Florence and served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Daniels was a graduate of McClenaghan High School in Florence and attended Coker College in Hartsville. He lived at North Litchfield Beach for a number of years prior to moving to Georgetown. Mr. Daniels was associated with Sampit Furniture Company for a number of years and was a Baptist.
Surviving are: two daughters, Deborah D. King and her husband James of Mt. Pleasant and Lisa D. Rogers of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Henry Martin "Shot" Daniels, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Boca Raton, Fla. and Charles S. "Chuck" Daniels and his wife Lisa of Georgetown; a special Companion, Ruth Fraser of Jacksonville, Fla.; and nine grandchildren, Anna King, Ryan King, Laura Ruskin, Rebecca Ruskin, Whitney Rogers, Savanna Daniels, Blaze Daniels, Ward Daniels, and Sydney Daniels.
Memorial services will be Sunday afternoon, September 12, 2004, at two o'clock at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. R. Wayne Ellis.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from four until six Saturday afternoon, September 11, 2004.
