St. Stephen: Hildagard Horton Ritter Savage, 86, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Savage was born in Fairfax on May 9, 1921, a daughter of the late Miles Farnum Horton and Alice Rebecca All Horton. She was a Master Weaver at Albany Felt Company, when she retired in 1986. Mrs. Savage was a member of the alumni of the Connie Maxwell Children's Home. Surviving are: a son, William Richard Ritter of St. Stephen; two daughters, Alice Eugenia Matthews and her husband Paul and Sarah Rebecca Lambert and her husband Leroy, all of Georgetown; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a nephew; and two nieces.
