Georgetown:
Hildegarde Morris Audesirk, 82, widow of Frank J. Audesirk, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Tideland Community Hospice House.
Mrs. Audesirk was born in Georgetown on February 9, 1929, a daughter of the late Caleb Carmalt Morris and Mary Lee Nesmith Morris. She grew up in Georgetown and attended Winyah High School prior to moving to Cranford, N. J. Mrs. Audesirk lived in Bucks County, Pa. for twenty years and reared her six children there. She was active in Tinicum Township Civic Association. Mrs. Audesirk moved to Florida and retired from Johnson & Johnson in Jacksonville, Fla. in 1988. After returning to S. C., she worked at Pawleys Island Wine and Spirits for a number of years.
Surviving are: three daughters, Hilde Hopkins (Stephen) and Suzanne C. Tiller (Tom), both of Pawleys Island and Mary Lee Wagner (Ron) of Fairfax, Va.; three sons, Joseph Audesirk (Wendy) of Perkasie, Pa., Christian Audesirk (Marianne) of Quakertown, Pa. and Frank Audesirk of Sugarland, Tex.; fourteen grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be ten o'clock Saturday morning, June 4, 2011, at Elmwood Cemetery.
