Georgetown:
Hubert Albert Bone, 69, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bone was born May 23, 1936 in Sampit Community of Georgetown Co., a son of the late LeRoy "Roy" Wilson Bone and Edna Ward Bone. He lived all his life in Georgetown County and was the owner of Bone Logging. Mr. Bone was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church and the Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are: his wife, Nellie Bone of Georgetown; five sons, Danny Bone and Hubert Bone, Jr., both of Georgetown, Walker Bone of Pleasant Hill, Chris Bone of Andrews, and Mark Johnson of Lake City; three daughters, Simone Lathan of Georgetown, Janet Bone of Hampstead, N. C., and Tara Bone of Surf City, N. C.; three brothers, Oneal Bone and Rocky Bone, both of Georgetown, and Ricky Bone of Murrells Inlet, S. C.; two sisters, Eva Mae Overbey and Thelma Altman, both of Georgetown; fourteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bone was predeceased by: a son, Mark Edward Bone; and two brothers, R. L. Bone and Jimmy Bone.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Friday afternoon, June 3, 2005, at Sampit United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Bruce Adams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
