Obituary

Georgetown: Inez Goins Lambert, 90, died Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Lambert was born in Georgetown on July 2, 1920, a daughter of the late Fred Madrick Goins and Annie Lee Mitchum Goins. She lived all her life in Georgetown and was a member of Grace Temple. Mrs. Lambert was a retired employee of the cafeteria at International Paper Company. Mrs. Lambert was predeceased by: her husband, General G. Lambert; and two sons, Raleigh Lambert and Ronnie Lambert. Surviving are: two sons, Bob Lambert (Susie) and Nettles Lambert, Sr. (Doris), both of Georgetown; two daughters, Betty Prabo (Ron) of Murrells Inlet and Shirley Ogren of Georgetown; two brothers, Horace Goins and John Goins, both of Georgetown; a sister, Corine Lambert of Georgetown; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, December 13, 2010, at Grace Temple. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronnie Cox. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
