Andrews:
Iva Nell Casselman Tedder, 77, widow of Rev. Oscar Lynwood Tedder, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Tedder was born in Williamsburg Co. near Andrews on November 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Horace Casselman and Millie Herring Casselman. She was a retired employee of Oneita Industries. Mrs. Casselman was a very spiritual and devoted member of Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Widowers Club of the church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tedder was predeceased by a brother, Roger Casselman and a sister, Yvonne Wright.
Surviving are: two sons, Ronnie Tedder (Rose) and Dean Tedder (Debbie), both of Andrews; four brothers, M. C. Casselman, David Casselman (Ann), Wilson Casselman (Merrel), and Kenny Casselman (Annette), all of Andrews; three sisters, Margie Goings of St. Stephens, Joyce Witherspoon (Wayne) and Judy Brown, both of Andrews; three grandsons, Ron, William, and Christopher Tedder; and a great-granddaughter, Madalynn Tedder.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Monday afternoon, November 22, 2010, at Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Thad Jacobs. Burial will follow in Piney Forest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Sunday afternoon, November 21, 2010 from four until six.
