Born on October 29, 1940 to Ida Whaley and Stirling Lavigno, she graduated from the Medical University College of Nursing in 1961. An avid antique collector and dealer, she also ran the Laurel Hill Bed and Breakfast for twenty years and served as President of the South Carolina Bed and Breakfast Association. A gifted artist, cross stitcher, rug hooker, and cook, her greatest talent was her generous love and support of her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Dr. Richard Leland Morrison, III; her loving children, Elise Morrison, Roxanne Morrison and her partner Jack Brittain; and her grandchildren, Lawson and Michael Hardee.
