Hopkins:
James Manning Cloaninger, 91, died Monday, August 29, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Cloaninger was born May 15, 1920 in Statesville, N. C., a son of James H. Cloaninger and Yette McIntyre Cloaninger. He grew up in Columbia and graduated Lower Richland High School, attended Clemson University, and served in the U. S. Navy during W. W. II. Mr. Cloaninger was the former owner of Cloaninger Specialty Company in Moncks Corner and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Noveline Ackerman Davis Cloaninger of Hopkins; two daughters, Priscilla West (John) of Moncks Corner and Joan McDaniel (Landrum) of Johnsonville; seven grandchildren, John Marshall, Cameron, Mason, Conner, Cooper, Claire, and Kateland.

Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be Thursday, September 1, 2011, at eleven o'clock in Harmony Cemetery near Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark Williams, Rev. Dr. Edward Usher, and Rev. Bob Huggins.
