Georgetown:

James Wesley "Possum"  Fuller, 44, son of Gail McClellan Floyd and Ashley Fuller, died Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Roper Hospice Cottage in Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Fuller was born in Georgetown on April 11, 1978, where he attended Georgetown High School. He worked as a master hardwood floor layer, he did homes from Charleston to Debordieu Colony in Georgetown. Wesley was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors, especially when all of his buddies were together. He had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. He will be loved and missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are: a son, Tyler Reid Dorsey (mother – Kimberly Dorsey), Wesley's mother and father of Georgetown, and a sister, Caroline Ashley Fuller; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Graveside Services will be three o'clock Friday, March17, 2023, at the McClellanville Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home from five until seven pm.

The family suggests memorials to: Roper Hospice Cottage, 676 Wando Park Blvd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464, or to the charity of one's choice.
