James Richard Robinson, 56, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at his sister's residence in Pawleys Island.
Mr. Robinson was born in Richmond, Va. on December 6, 1954, a son of the late Hazel Mobley Robinson and Ramona " Peggy" Rea Robinson Musselman. He grew up in Roanoke, Va. and graduated for Lord Botetourt High School in Botetourt Co., Va. in 1972. Mr. Robinson served in the U. S. Air Force as an air traffic controller. After his military service, he worked with Daniel Construction Co. for a time and was currently employed with Hogan Construction Co.
James built some beautiful buildings all over Georgia. He was a great husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his job right up to the end.
Surviving are: his wife, Cynthia Robinson; a son, Bobby Redwine; two daughters, Tasha Pierice and Tina Morgan; a brother Tom Robinson; three sister, Betty Jenson (Eric), Alice Lewis (Larry), and Sue Stark Deford (Karl); and four grandchildren, Clayton Hill, Gage Redwine, Madison Morgan, and Haylee Morgan.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
