Georgetown:
Jane Anderson Woodcock Williams Wallace died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center in Mount Pleasant.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Georgetown on July 28, 1926, a daughter of the late Allison Ilers Woodcock and Sara Lyndall Bass Woodcock. She was a graduate of Winyah High School, Converse College and University of South Carolina Business School. Mrs. Wallace was a schoolteacher at McDonald Elementary School and First Baptist School. She was previously the owner and manager of the Georgetown Coca Cola Bottling Company. Mrs. Wallace was elected Woman of the Year by the Georgetown Business and Professional Woman's Club and was very active in the Prince George Garden Club. She was the widow of George Robert Williams and William Robert Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace was a life long member of the First Baptist Church. She served on many committees including the Building Committee and the WMU Current Missions. She was also a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Surviving are: a daughter, Bonnie W. Dantzler and her husband Russ C. of Lexington; a granddaughter, Lyndall W. Dantzler of Mt. Pleasant; a grandson, Russ C. Dantzler, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Lexington; and a cousin, Rev. Anderson Bass and his wife Beverly of Conway.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 2, 2010, at ten o'clock at the First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home on July 1, 2010 from five until seven o'clock.
