Georgetown:
Janice E. Frye, 88, widow of William Charles Frye, Sr., passed away peacefully Friday morning, November 12, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Frye was born in Georgetown on October 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Bennie Walker Cox, Sr. and Janie Etta Smith Cox.
Mrs. Frye was a very loyal and devoted member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. She taught Sunday School for many years and was a past President of the Women's Ministry. Mrs. Frye loved the Lord will all her heart and read her Bible daily. During her life she set a Christian example for so many people. She was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast. One of her most favorite things in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Frye was predeceased by: two sons, William Charles "Chuck" Frye, Jr. and Lawrence "Larry" Vincent Frye; a baby girl, Catherine Jane Frye and a granddaughter, Christy Reeder and grandson, Jamie Reeder.
Surviving are: two daughters, Cheryl Frye Tisdale (Tommy) of Charleston and Pamela Frye Walter (Doug) of Johnsonville, a daughter-in-law, Mitzi Frye of Charleston; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be two o'clock Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Greg Thompson along with Rev. Clyde Glover. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church sanctuary from twelve-thirty until two o'clock.
