Andrews: Jason Ryan Altman, 43, died of natural causes on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Altman was born in Georgetown on December 22, 1969, a son of the late Charlie Davis Altman and Thelma Bone Altman. He grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Andrews Academy. Mr. Altman attended Horry Georgetown Technical College and worked for SafeRack Manufacturing in Andrews. He was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church. Mr. Altman enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loving father. Surviving are: a daughter, Caroline Scott Altman of Georgetown; a son, Daniel Ryan Altman of Georgetown; his former wife, Lea Scott of Georgetown; two uncles; and an aunt. Memorial services will be held at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning, September 7, 2013, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. John Williams.
