Pawleys Island: Jean McGill Wise, 72, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Tideland Community Hospice House in Georgetown. Mrs. Wise was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on November 14, 1940, a daughter of the late Charles Lalen McGill and Marian Lees McGill. She grew up in North East Philadelphia and graduated from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She was a retired pharmaceutical representative with Schering-Plough. Mrs. Wise moved to Pawleys Island from Medford, N.J. in 1998 and was a member of Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church. Surviving are: her husband, Thomas A. Wise of Pawleys Island; two daughters, Anne Wise Garneau (Mario) of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Susan Wise of Alexandria, Va.; and a brother, Roger McGill of Marmora, N.J. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wise was predeceased by: a brother, Douglas McGill. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church.
