Plantersville: Jessie Edward Smith, 44, died Sunday, August 09, 2009, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Smith was born in Georgetown on December 26, 1964, a son of Bobbie Jean Harrelson Smith and the late Everette McCloud Smith. He grew up in the Plantersville Community and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. Mr. Smith was the former owner and operator of Smith Logging. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Mr. Smith was also a member of the Snowmill Hunting Club. Mr. Smith was predeceased by a brother, Everette Smith, Jr. Surviving, in additions to his Mother of Plantersville, are: two sons, Jessie Smith, Jr. and Andrew Smith, both of Loconia, N. H.; two daughters, Jessica Smith of Plantersville and Reghan Smith of Loconia, N. H.; two brothers, Michael Smith of Georgetown and Wayne Lawrimore of Plantersville; a sister, Nancy Powell of Andrews; and one grandchild, Jordan Weaver of Plantersville.
