Jimmie Faye Brantley Clemons, 82, widow of James Carlisle "Jimmy" Clemons, died Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1941, at home in Trio of Williamsburg County. Ms. Clemons was a daughter of the late Lorace Jim Brantley and Pearl Dosha (Ward) Brantley.
Jimmie Faye was the owner and operator of Jimmie's Florals. She retired after 25 years of serving the community of Andrews and surrounding areas.
Jimmie Faye kept her hands busy at all times with many hobbies, but her greatest love was fishing. She loved sitting on her porch visiting with family and friends. Jimmie Faye was a great cook and loved to share with everyone. She loved people, but especially her family.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Morris Owens (Walt), Vicky Morris Martin, Rhonda Clemons Johanning (Ernest), and Joy Clemons Fulton; grandchildren, Walter Owens (Stacy), Todd Owens (Heather), Jay Owens (Kate), Josh Martin (Karlee), David Fulton (Sayaka), Anna Beth Martin (Will), Ethan Johanning, and Rachel Johanning; great-grandchildren, Jackson Owens, Issac Brzinski, Molly Brzinski, Keegan Owens, Kinley Owens, Brighton Owens, Emery Owens, Phillip "Flip" Owens, Adelie Fulton, and Theodore Fulton; sister, Betty Ray, brother, Alvin Brantley, sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Moore, Marsha Morris (Randy), brother-in-law, Roland Clemons (Denise), and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Flynn Morris, siblings, Robert Brantley, Lorace Brantley, and Denise Bouchette.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:30 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the Trinity Global Methodist Church Family Life Center, with the funeral service immediately following at 3:30 PM, also in the Family Life Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ben Gafford.
The Andrews Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
