Pawley's Island:
JoAnn Green Morris, 52, died Wednesday, September 3, 2003, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet.
Mrs. Morris was born in Charleston on December 28, 1950, a daughter of the late John Thomas Green and Sallie Lee McMillian Green. She grew up in the St. Andrews section of Charleston and graduated from St. Andrews High School. Mrs. Morris attended Palmer Business College. She lived in Summerville for fifteen years prior to moving to Pawley's Island in 1994. Mrs. Morris was a former employee of Summerville Office Supplies and The Print Shop in Andrews. She was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church and attended Pawley's Island Community Church.
Surviving are: her husband, E. Michael "Mike" Morris of Pawley's Island; two sons, Christopher Michael Morris of Nashville, Tenn. and Jason Scott Morris of Myrtle Beach; a daughter, Stephanie Renee Morris Price and her husband, Henry of Georgetown; three sisters, Sharyn G. Radlbauer and her husband Frank of North Charleston, Donna G. Heck and her husband Steve of Cincinnati, Oh., and Pamela G. Randolph of Pawley's Island; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sandra and John Mobley and Edsel and Judy Morris, all of Georgetown; and four grandchildren, Ashlee Taylor Morris, Austin Morris, and Andrew Morris, all of Clarksville, Tenn., and Hunter Price of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be one o'clock Friday afternoon, September 5, 2003, at Pawley Island Community Church Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Bob Barrows and the Rev. Fred Graf. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown.
The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Thursday evening, September 4, 2003, from six until eight.
