John Belton "J.B." Burrows, Jr., 31, of Ash, NC, passed away on August 1, 2024. He was born on October 29, 1992, in Georgetown, SC.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Burrows, grandfathers, John Belton Burrows and Junior Redick, grandmothers, Mettie Burrows and Carol Redick Cribb, step-grandfather, Mike Cribb, and an aunt, Chris Redick Blevins.
J.B. loved the outdoors and was enamored by the beauty of nature. He was fond of country music and enjoyed singing songs by Conway Twitty and George Jones. He was passionate about drawing and coloring with pens. Most of all, he loved life and the special people in it.
J.B. is survived by a son he loved dearly, Carter Rory Burrows, his mother, Lori Redick, Charles Smith, who was like a daddy to him, a half-brother, Hughie Burrows, an amazing aunt, Frances Self, whom he lovingly referred to as "Frat Frat", an uncle, Bobby Self, a cousin, Anthony Redick, and his best friend, Timiah Flowers. J.B. also leaves behind special friends, Brittany Bracy and her family. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will miss him.
He was predeceased by his brother, Shaun Redick.
A memorial service will be held at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Brad Hardwick officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour before the service.
