Andrews:
John Benjamin Cooper "Johnny", 64, of Andrews, husband of the late Mary Catherine Gamble Cooper, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Cooper was born January 9, 1945 in Kingstree, a son of the late Samuel L. Cooper and Ruby C. Cooper. He grew up in Trio and graduated from Williamsburg High School. After completion of military duty in the United States Army, Mr. Cooper worked at Blakely Brothers Parts from many years and was currently employed by Palmetto InfuScience. He was a member of Suttons United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: two daughters, Janet Leigha Cooper of Andrews and Joni Cooper Truluck (Klay) of Irmo; two sisters, Jacqueline C. Ward (Franklin) of Georgetown and Allison Dillard Tisdale (David) of Andrews; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be ten o'clock Friday morning, July 31, 2009, at Suttons United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Churchyard.
