Pawleys Island:
John James Lattin, 85, died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Mt. Pleasant Manor in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Lattin was born in Baltimore, Md. on September 28, 1926, a son of the late David Leslie Lattin and Elizabeth Pedone Lattin. He grew up in Baltimore and served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Lattin was a retired tool and die maker. He was a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Nannie Watkins Lattin of Pawleys Island; three sons, Les Lattin (Connie) and David Lattin (Sue), both of Maryland, and John Lattin (Diane) of Georgia; a daughter, Janet Tyler (John) of Maryland; a brother, Joe Lattin (Peg) of Maryland; two sisters, Betty Haviland of Michigan and Mary Duvall (Buttons) of Arizona; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at two o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, November 22, 2011, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Patrick J. Stenson.
