Andrews:
John Dean Morris, 46, was found dead at his residence Saturday, November 8, 2003.
Mr. Morris was born in Hemingway on April 17, 1957, a son of J. B. Morris and Lenora Newton Morris. He grew up in Andrews and attended Williamsburg County Schools. Mr. Morris was a carpenter. He was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church and had a kind and loving heart.
Surviving in addition to his parents Andrews are: a brother, Tony W. Morris of Andrews; two sisters, Hope Baxley and Cindy Glisson, both of Andrews; four nieces, Crystal G. Harris, Stacy M. Glisson, Allie S. Morris, and Taylor B. Baxley, all of Andrews; two nephews, Dillon W. Morris and Sean P. Baxley, both of Andrews; a great-niece, Madison L. Harris of Andrews; and two great-nephews, Bradley J. Harris and Tracy A. Glisson, both of Andrews.
Mr. Morris was predeceased by: maternal grandparents, Warren Leo Newton and Eunice Cothern Newton; and paternal grandparents, Hughie Oscar Morris and Annie Browder Morris.
Memorial services will be Monday, November 10, 2003, at two o'clock in Piney Forest Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. James L. May and Rev. John Henry Alford.
