Georgetown: John "Butch" Harvey Wilson, Jr., 63, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mr. Wilson was born in Georgetown on November 16, 1951, a son of the late John Harvey Wilson, Sr. and Myrtis Lee Lambert Wilson. He lived all his life in Georgetown and was a retired employee of H & S Oil Company. Mr. Wilson was a member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was predeceased by: his wife, Shirley Dean Cannon Wilson, a son, John Harvey Wilson, III; and a sister, Pamela Taylor. Surviving are: three sons, J. Kelly Wilson, John William Earl "Billy" Wilson, and Christopher Ackerman, all of Georgetown; a brother, James Christopher Wilson of Florence; and two sisters, Jennifer W.
