Georgetown:
Johnnie V. Lambert Johnson, 74, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab in Edgefield.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Georgetown on July 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Benjamin "Bennie" Franklin Lambert and Pearline Lambert. She was a graduate of Howard High School and lived most of her life in Georgetown, prior to moving to Johnston to live with her daughter. Mrs. Johnson was a former employee of the U. S. Naval Shipyard in Charleston. She was a member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are: her daughter, Frankie Wilson Hines (Scott) of Johnston; a son, John B. A. "Tony" Wilson (Agnes) of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Franklin D. Lambert of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Savannah Hinds, Jason Cooper, Karen Cooper, Jeremiah Wilson and Joshua Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday morning, July 6, 2010, at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church at eleven o'clock. Officiating will be the Rev. Clide E. Glover. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Annex.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral services at the church from ten until eleven o'clock.
