Andrews:
Johnny Wayne Timmons, 59, beloved husband and friend of Gail Timmons, entered into eternal rest at his home on November 2, 2010.
Mr. Timmons was born in Mullins on July 5, 1951, a son of the late J. D. Timmons and Ilene Fowler Timmons. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1969. Mr. Timmons was a member of Harpers Lodge #125, the Scottish Rite and the Omar Shriners.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Timmons was predeceased by a half-brother, James Herbert Timmons.
Surviving are: his wife, Gail Woodbury Timmons of Andrews; three daughters, Becky Timmons and Daphney Timmons, both of Andrews, and Jenny Cox (Ritchie) of Georgetown; three half-sisters, Jeanette Sparkman (Billy) of Clinton, Margaret Street (Dale) of Hendersonville, N.C. and Dorothy Floyd (Johnny) of Loris; a half-brother, Billy Timmons of Loris; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be on Friday morning, November 5, 2010, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home at eleven o'clock. Officiating will be the Rev. Laurie McAlpine.
The family will receive friends and relatives after the memorial service at First Baptist Church in Andrews.
