RALEIGH, N.C. — Joseph Allison Johnson, 73, of Raleigh, N.C., died Thursday, April 5, 2007. Mr. Johnson was born April 14, 1933, to Louise Rosa Johnson and Julian Lester Johnson in Georgetown, S.C. He graduated from Lower Richland High School and the University of South Carolina. He served in the Korean War. He attended St. Michaels Episcopal Church in Raleigh, N.C. He is survived by his children, David Julian Johnson, Christopher Sauter Johnson and Carolina Louise Johnson; and his grandson, Raleigh Julian Johnson. He is also survived by his mother, Louise Rosa Johnson; brother, David Tooker Johnson; sister; Helen Johnson Royall; four nieces; and 12 great-nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Prince George Winyah, Georgetown, SC. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the American Cancer Society.
