Georgetown; Joseph Anthony Teel, 33, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014, in Pawley's Island. Joseph was born in Georgetown on May 24, 1981, a son of Wayne Anthony "Tony" Teel and Janet Adair Teel. He grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Georgetown High School and Horry/Georgetown Technical College. Joseph received a degree in Civil Engineering and Project Management from Coastal Carolina University. He was an employee of Contract Exteriors. Joseph was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and hunting, and was a very accomplished musician. He was a loving father and a wonderful son. Surviving are; his Mother and Father of Georgetown; a son Joseph Anthony Teel, Jr. of Georgetown; a sister, Jenny Frances Sikely (Kris), of Charleston; and his maternal grandmother, Essie H. Adair of Georgetown. Joseph was predeceased by a sister, Meagan Teel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be three o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 8, 2014 at Saint Mary, Our Lady of Ransom, Catholic Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Ronald J. Farrell.
