Juanita Williams Dunnaway, 87, the widow of Virgil Noah Dunnaway, died Friday, September 24, 2010, at Tidelands Community Hospice.
Mrs. Dunnaway was born at Center Crossroads in Georgetown County on May 20, 1923, a daughter of the late Ulysess Smith Williams and Carrie Doretha "Doll" Cribb Williams. She was a member of the Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. During her lifetime, Mrs. Dunnaway was a beautician, employed by General Telephone Co., The Grab Bag, and managed the Salvation Army Thrift Store before retirement. She was a member of Woodmen of the World and the Salvation Army Home League.
Surviving are: three daughters, Gloria K. (John) Zander of Jacksonville, FL, Brenda K. (Jerry) Pope of Georgetown, and Connie D. (Robert) Poston of Georgetown; a son, Reggie E. (Sandy) King of Surfside Beach; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was also predeceased by sisters, Edna W. Pope, Jackie W. Hall, and Frances W. Morris; and one brother, U. S. "Frank" Williams.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at eleven o'clock at the Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Clide E. Glover. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Monday evening, September 27, 2010 from six until eight o'clock.
