Andrews:
Juanita Fulton Strong, 79, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Strong was born in Georgetown Co. near Andrews on September 26, 1926, a daughter of the late James Alva Fulton and Bernice Ida Ivey Fulton. She taught school for 40 years in the Georgetown and Williamsburg Co. School Districts and retired in 1986. Mrs. Strong was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews, where she was a member and teacher of the Ed Hinson Sunday School Class for many years. Mrs. Strong also served her church as a member and circle leader of the Morning Circle.
Mrs. Strong was predeceased by: her husband, Willie E. Strong; and a sister, Mrs. Gary (Lucille) Haile.
Surviving are: two daughters, Annette S. Winstead and Nancy S. Stewart, both of Andrews; five sisters, Mrs. Henry (Alverta) Watson, Mrs. Willard (Inez) Altman, and Mrs. Lorenza (Betty) Cox, all of Andrews, Mrs. Raymond (Nell) Easler of Greeleyville, and Mrs. John B. (Emily) Knobeloch of Orangeburg; two grandsons, Marcus B. Stewart of Houston, Tex. and Daniel H. Winstead of Andrews; a great-grandson, Jonas P. Stewart of Houston, Tex.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, February 16, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
