Georgetown: Julia Louise Cox, 77, died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Cox was born in Pamplico on January 1, 1929, a daughter of the late William Gary Harrington and Eva Wise Harrington. She attended Florence Co. schools and then Georgetown Co. schools after moving to Georgetown at an early age. Mrs. Cox was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Cox was predeceased by: her husband, Robert Eldridge (Ell) Cox; and a daughter, Linda G. Steiner. Surviving are: a daughter, Jeannie Pruett and her husband Ronnie of Georgetown; a step-son, Robert Bubba Cox and his wife Sandy of East Earl, Penn.; four step-daughters, Joyce Smith and her husband Eric of Kingstree, Becky Jolly and her husband Mike of Lancaster, Barbara Adams and her husband Rick of N. Augusta, and Faye Barrineau of Georgetown; two sisters, Daisy Lee Miller and Libby McElveen, both of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Brandie S. Lipscomb and her husband David of Rocky Mount, N.C., Jeffery R. Jenks of Newport News, Va., and Christopher A. Solley of Denver, Colo.; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be four o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2006, at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Patrick May and the Rev. Themos Cribb.
