Karen Eileen Kindley, 76, of Pawleys Island, SC passed away at Indigo Carolina Forest Assisted Living in Myrtle Beach on June 16, 2024.

Karen was born on March 7, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY. Karen was preceded in death by a stepson, Sean Guerin, a grandson, Joseph Misciagno, and her brother, John Gill.

Karen retired as a Tax representative in the Banking Industry. Karen Grew up in Brooklyn, NY and for some time she also lived in California. She was very involved in her church. She was the chairman of Helping Hands and attended Global Trinity Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Phillip Kindley, one son Michael Misciagno (Janine) of PA, daughter, Lori Hepko-Syle (Bryon), sister, Ellen Thompson of Brooklyn, NY, one brother, James Low (Lois) of FL, two grandsons Brandon Hepko and Michael Syle.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Ben & Dora Gafford.

The Andrews Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
