Georgetown: Kenneth Michael Davis, 55, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mr. Davis was born in Georgetown on February 1, 1960, a son of the late Walter Ross Davis and Sarah Lee Skipper Davis Wynn. He grew up in Georgetown, graduated from high school, and received an associate degree from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. Mr. Davis was employed as an automobile technician with Parsons Auto & Radiator Repair, Inc. and was a former commercial swordfish fisherman. He was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Fireside Ministries. Mr. Davis was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by: a brother, Walter Lee Davis; and step-father, Joseph "Joe Pat" Patrick Wynn, Jr. Surviving are: his wife, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Mobley Davis of Georgetown; a daughter, Kadie Lee Davis of Georgetown; a son, Charles L. Taylor, III of Georgetown; a step-brother, Patrick Wynn; and a step-sister, Carolyn W. Cameron. Funeral services will be ten o'clock Saturday morning, July 11, 2015, at Fireside Ministries.
