Georgetown:
Kenneth Michael Davis, 55, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mr. Davis was born in Georgetown on February 1, 1960, a son of the late Walter Ross Davis and Sarah Lee Skipper Davis Wynn. He grew up in Georgetown, graduated from high school, and received an associate degree from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. Mr. Davis was employed as an automobile technician with Parsons Auto & Radiator Repair, Inc. and was a former commercial swordfish fisherman. He was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Fireside Ministries. Mr. Davis was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by: a brother, Walter Lee Davis; and step-father, Joseph "Joe Pat" Patrick Wynn, Jr.
Surviving are: his wife, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Mobley Davis of Georgetown; a daughter, Kadie Lee Davis of Georgetown; a son, Charles L. Taylor, III of Georgetown; a step-brother, Patrick Wynn; and a step-sister, Carolyn W. Cameron.
Funeral services will be ten o'clock Saturday morning, July 11, 2015, at Fireside Ministries. Officiating will be the Rev. Billy Anderson and the Rev. Tony Holcomb. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
