Pawleys Island: Kenneth Ashley Moore, Jr. (Kam) passed away Thursday June 14, 2018. He was the oldest son of Kenny and Jan Moore of Pawleys Island, SC. He was born in Columbia, SC on December 15, 1974. Kam grew up in Camden, SC and graduated from Camden High School. After graduating he attended Central Carolina Technical College and studied Natural Resource Management. Kam then moved to the local area and attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College. He worked for Moore's Premium Pest Control for eight years and this past year he worked at SafeRack in Andrews, SC. Kam is survived by his parents and two brothers; Penn Moore (Stephanie) of Pawleys Island, SC and Brandon Moore (Lydia) of Camden, SC, three nieces, two nephews, and also a large extended family that loved him very much. Kam enjoyed listening to music, Gamecock sports, and spending time with family and friends. His kind loving spirit will be truly missed. A private family service occurred last week and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, Friends of the Kaminski House (both in Georgetown), or the charity of your choice. The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home was in charge.
