Awendaw: Kim Vicary, 16, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Miss Vicary was born in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles on October 3, 1988, daughter of Carl Vicary and Lynne Vicary. She was a recent graduate and valedictorian of Archibald Rutledge Academy, where she was a cheerleader, a member of the basketball team, and a member of the Student Government Association. Miss Vicary was also an accomplished equestrian. She was to attend the College of Charleston in the fall. Surviving are: her parents of Awendaw; her paternal grandmother, Mavis Vicary of Australia; and her aunt, Karen Paterson of Australia. Memorial services will be held Wednesday morning, July 27, 2005, at ten o'clock at Robert E. Ashley Landing in McClellanville. Casual attire is acceptable.
