Georgetown:
Richard Alan Lambert, 57, widower of Alina Weatherford Lambert, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at his residence.
Mr. Lambert was born in Georgetown on January 19, 1963, a son of the late Arthur Lambert and Janice Byrdic Lambert. He grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. Mr. Lambert was a past member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.
He worked for Hoover Chrysler Dodge for over twenty-five years as the service manager. When he was young he loved playing baseball and football. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR and listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Lambert was predeceased by: a step-mother, Faye Elizabeth Poole Lambert; and a brother, Perry Lambert.
Surviving are: a daughter, Sabrina McClellan (Michael) of Georgetown; a step-daughter, Shenna Horne (Jeff) of Dillon; three sons, Robert Smith of NY; Cole Lambert of Georgetown and Alan Lambert of FL; five brothers, B. Craig Lambert (Gloria), Keith L. Poole, Edwin C. Lambert (Karen) all of Georgetown, P. Bruce Lambert (Cynthia) of Swansea and Derrell A. Lambert (Marie) of Columbia; and ten grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 23, 2020, at ten o'clock in Elmwood Cemetery.
