Charleston:
Laura Elizabeth Kerrison died on October 19, 2018 at her home in Charleston. She was born on June 29, 1989 to Brenda Morris Kerrison and William Legare Kerrison. After graduating from The Charleston Day School and Bishop England High School, she attended Limestone College in Gaffney South Carolina. She was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
Laura had a passion for adventure and exploration. Twice she attended the NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) program in Patagonia Chile. She was an avid sports fan and played volleyball in high school and college. She loved music and her favorite hobby was attending music festivals and live concert shows. Laura loved people and they loved her in return. Everyone she encountered was instantly drawn to her infectious energy. She was a truly dedicated friend with a generous heart of gold.
She is survived by her mother Brenda Morris Kerrison, her father, William Legare Kerrison, her sister, Rebecca Joan Kerrison, her grandmother, Joan Green Morris, and her grandfather, Loyd Conrad Morris. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Betsy M. Kerrison and her grandfather, Charles Kerrison Sr.
A memorial service will be held at two o'clock pm Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Andrews South Carolina. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ben Gafford.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made in Laura's name to the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center and The Charleston Animal Society.
