Georgetown: Lena "Betty" Belle Sarvis Jacobs, 79, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jacobs was born on November 10, 1924 in Bucksport, a daughter of the late William Sam Sarvis and Annie Jewell Beverley Sarvis. She grew up at Bucksport and moved to Georgetown after her marriage to the late Willard Edelle Jacobs. Mrs. Jacobs attended First Assembly of God. Surviving are: two sons, Willard E. "Billy" Jacobs, Jr. of Andrews and James E. Jacobs of Georgetown; a daughter, Barbara A. Grant of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday morning, April 2, 2004, at eleven o'clock at First Assembly of God. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. C. Bradley Morris. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, April 1, 2004, from six until eight o'clock at the Church.
