Georgetown: Leroy "Buddy" Barnes, 75, widower of Lois Roberts Barnes, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Mr. Barnes was born in Baltimore, Md. on February 13, 1940, a son of the late Henry "Harry" Clark Barnes and Sadie Corine Altman Barnes. He grew up in Baltimore and served in the Air Force for seven years. He moved to the Rhem's community of Georgetown County in 1969. Mr. Barnes retired from Georgetown Steel in 2003. Surviving are: two sons, Henry Barnes (Lisa) and Tommy Barnes (Marie), both of Georgetown; a daughter, Holly Andriaschko (Nik) of Hanahan; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Garrett, Kaitlyn, and Madison Barnes, Tony McRae (Lindsay), Hanna and Owen Barnes, and Kody and Kyle Andriaschko. Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Saturday morning, June 6, 2015, at the graveside in Union United Methodist Cemetey. Sign a guest book at www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
