Georgetown: Lillian Ulmer Plunkett, 86, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Plunkett was born in Elloree on August 1, 1921, a daughter of the late Jasper David Ulmer and Lola Heatley Ulmer. She grew up in Elloree and graduated from high school there. Mrs. Plunkett was the widow of Ned Earl Plunkett, Sr. Surviving are: four sons, Ned Earl Plunkett, Jr. of Winston-Salem, N. C., John Edward Plunkett of Georgetown, Robert Paul Plunkett and Richard Alan Plunkett, both of Charleston; a sister, Margaret Ulmer Plunkett of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be one o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 2008, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Patrick Plunkett.
