Georgetown:
Lillie Mae Robbins Anderson, 80, widow of William "Bill" Anderson, Sr., died Tuesday, September 24, 2014, at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Georgetown on November 29, 1933, a daughter of the late John Langerwell Robbins and Lillie Mary Altman Robbins Nooft. She was a member of First Assembly of God, where she taught Sunday School for 35 years. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Women's Ministry and a past President and Sectional Representative, and also a member of the Adult Choir for many years. She later became a founding and faithful member of Fireside Ministries, where she loved contributing to and being a part of church activities and services for the last 13 years.
Surviving are: two sons, Pastor Billy Anderson (Flora) and Mitch Anderson (Karen), both of Georgetown; a daughter, Glenda Avant (Wally) of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Will Anderson (Mandy), Christy Anderson (Ryan), Brad Anderson (Bernie), Jan Avant, Mitch Anderson (Amanda), and Jimmy Anderson (Mica); ten great-grandchildren, Josie Anderson, Ethan and Corrin Anderson, Micah Anderson, Lillian, Amos, and David Anderson, Elijah Anderson, Jaycob Petit, and Colin Hamilton; two brothers, Al Nooft (Eve) and Pat Nooft (Dora); and two sisters, Mary Skipper (Bill) and Debbie Dugan (Lewis).
Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock on Friday morning, September 26, 2014, at Fireside Ministries. Officiating will be Pastor Billy Anderson. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday at the Church from ten until eleven o'clock.
