Andrews: Linda Morris Smith, 65, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Linda was born on October 26, 1947 in Hemingway, a daughter of the late Thomas Whitfield Morris, Sr. and Sudie Mae Howard Morris. She grew up in the Piney Forest community of Williamsburg Co. and graduated from Williamsburg High School. Linda was a licensed practical nurse and was a former employee of the Georgetown Co. School District, Andrews Wire, and the Woodlands Division of International Paper Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Surviving are: her husband, Arthur W. Smith of Andrews; a son, Woody Smith of Andrews; a daughter, April Smith of Andrews; five grandchildren, Austin, Grayson, Dane, and Max Smith, and Mariah Calvillo; and three brothers, Tommy Morris (Mary Dell) of Pawleys Island, and Chris Morris (Helen) and Randy Morris, both of Andrews. Graveside services will be at eleven o'clock on Tuesday morning, April 9, 2013, at Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Sapp. Sign a guestbook at: www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
