Georgetown: Lloyd Kirton Cribb, 60, died Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Cribb was born in Georgetown on February 9, 1961, a son of the late Joe Kirton Cribb and Rena Bell Lambert Cribb. Mr. Cribb grew up in Georgetown and attended Georgetown Public Schools. He attended Graves Baptist Church and loved to sing in church. Mr. Cribb had a wonderful voice and enjoyed singing every chance he could. He had a great sence of humor and could keep people laughing, especially with his jokes. Mr. Cribb enjoyed fishing with his dad before his passing. Lloyd was a loving father and was a friend to all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cribb is predeceased by: a brother, Robert Joe Cribb and a nephew/brother, Russell Leon Bone, Jr. Surviving are: his only child, Charlene Shurling Hussey (Joshua) of Georgetown; his siblings, Dooney Cribb of Georgetown, Jo Ann Caulder of Murrells Inlet, J. P. Cribb (Linda) of Georgetown, Annie Martin of Murrells Inlet, Ralph Cribb of Hemingway and Lorene Cribb of Murrells Inlet; and two grandchildren, Madison and Anthony McAlister; and a number of nieces and nephews.
