Georgetown:
Lloyd Mack Goude, 92, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Goude was born in the Center Crossroads community of Georgetown Co. on June 3, 1922, a son of the late John Leslie McFarland Goude and Annie Ruth Russ Goude. He grew up in the community where he was born and served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member and former deacon of Nesmith Baptist Church in Nesmith. Mr. Goude retired from International Paper Co.
Mr. Goude was predeceased by: his wife of over fifty years, Myrtle Pope Goude; a brother, Laurice "Boo" Goude; and two sisters, Annie Ruth G. Miller and Lauvenia G. Jacobs.
Surviving are: a son, Jeffrey L. Goude (Becky) of Georgetown; a daughter, Jane Goude Lacer (Rob) of Clarks Hill; two grandchildren, Lara "Miki" Barrett Morgan (Michael) and Holly Goude Small (Joey); three great-grandchildren; Marissa L. Barrett, Ashlyn N. and Conner J. Small; a brother, Leslie "Doug" Goude (Jannes Pope) of Beaufort; two sisters, Ozela Lambert of Beaufort and Jennie Lee Miller of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 12, 2015, at Nesmith Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Craig Cribb, the Rev. David Welch, and the Rev. Benjamin Simmons. Entombment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Monday evening, May 11, 2015, from six until eight.
