Georgetown: Lloyd Michael Young Jr, (43) loving husband of Lakitta Young, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 25th 2021. Lloyd was born in Georgetown, SC to Deborah S. Young and the late L. Michael Young Sr. on February 27th 1977. He graduated Georgetown High School and attended Clemson University. He remained a diehard Clemson Tigers fan to the very end. Like his father and grandfather, he was a third-generation logger. He was an avid storyteller and jokester. He enjoyed playing video games with his son and nephews. He loved being outdoors, fishing, watching nature, dreamed of restoring his old Broncos, and a good steak with a slice of caramel cake. However, nothing came before his family as he always put them before himself. He is proceeded in death by his father L Michael Young Sr, his special Uncle Deryl D. Young, 3 Aunts, 2 Uncles, and 1 brother in-law. He is survived by his loving wife, Lakitta Young and their children Addison Angel, Aiden Brennan, and Lloyd Michael Young III. Mother Deborah S. Young, Brother Ryan Young, Sister Leslie Springs, Brother Jay Young (Kimberlee Young), all from Georgetown, SC. Mother in-law Lou Alcorn, and Sister in-law Nyja Dilonardo (Michael Dilonardo) all from Atlanta, GA. He adored his 2 nieces, 2 beloved nephews, and numerous Aunts and Uncles. Funeral services will be two o'clock Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
