Andrews: Lois Genevieve Ward Long, 54, died Thursday, February 24, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown. Mrs. Long was born in Lamberttown community of Georgetown County on January 18, 1951. She graduated from Howard Adult and Community Education Center and received college credit from a college in Charleston. Surviving are her husband, James Olin Long of Andrews; two sons, John Stephen Long and his wife Kelly of Waynesboro, Va. and Jason Olin Long and his wife Jessica of Choppee community of Georgetown Co.; five grandchildren, Amber Long and Ashley Long of Waynesboro, Va., William Long, Destiny Long, and Michaela Long of Choppee; two brothers, Gary Nelson Ward of Martinsville, Va., and Donald Earl Ward of Andrews; three sisters, Bonnie Eloise Ward Ethridge and Deborah Lee Ward Singleton both of Andrews, and Marcia Ann Ward Barr of North Santee community of Georgetown Co.; and fourteen nieces and nephews, Michael Long, Debra Long, Tommy Long, Vickie Long, Beth Thomas, Jim Thomas, Lynn Terry, James Terry, Susan Terry, James Ethridge, Michael Cooper, Brooks Cooper, Christina Browder, and Charlotte Browder.
