Pawleys Island: Louis Seigman Ehrich, Jr., 93, died at Waccamaw Community Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Mr. Ehrich was the son of the late Louis S. and Florence Loeb Ehrich. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he majored in engineering. Mr. Ehrich was a director of the Winchester (CT) Land Trust and The Park Pond Club, Inc. In 1978, the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers recognized him as Service Manager of the Year. In 2003, Mr. Ehrich retired as a senior associate with JAD Associates and moved from Connecticut to the Lakes at Litchfield to be near family. Mr. Ehrich was predeceased by his brother Benjamin Becker Ehrich of California and is survived by a number of cousins. Burial was in Temple Beth Elohim Cemetery in Georgetown and a guest book may be signed at www.mayerfuneralhome.com. The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
