Murrells Inlet: Louise Ransdell Bizuk, 99, died Thursday, February 7, 2008, at Georgetown Healthcare & Rehab. Mrs. Bizuk was born in Durham, N. C. on November 22, 1908, a daughter of the late Oliver D. Ransdell and Ida Webster Burnette Ransdell. She attended the Franklin Co. N. C. schools and Appalachian State University. Mrs. Bizuk worked for the N. C. Department of Motor Vehicles in Raleigh, N. C. for a time. She was a former member of the New London, N. C. School P.T.A. and was a founder and 1st President of the Homemakers Club of New London. Mrs. Bizuk was an artist and painter. She was the widow of Walter Dennis Bizuk. Survivors include: a daughter, Joan Bizuk Harris and her husband Melvin of Murrells Inlet; three children, Cheryl Ann Godwin, Cynthia Denise Harris and John David Whitley, all of Albemarle, N.
