Andrews:
Louise Huggins Wheeler, 75, died Monday, August 8, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown.
Mrs. Wheeler was born in Galivants Ferry on February 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Jesse Evan Huggins and Frances Ruth James Huggins. She grew up in Lake City and lived most of her life in the Earle Community of Williamsburg Co. Mrs. Wheeler was the owner of Wheeler's Country Store, which she operated for the past twenty years. She was a member of Earle United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wheeler was predeceased by: her husband, William Pharow "Buster" Wheeler, Jr.; a son, William Pharow "Bill" Wheeler, III: and a sister, Frances Harris.
Surviving are: a son, Bruce D. Wheeler and his wife Kay of Andrews; three daughters, Helen W. Morris and her husband Chris and Nanette W. Ward and her husband Phillip, all of Andrews, and Alice W. Watson and her husband Tommy of Georgetown; a brother, Wofford Huggins of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Carolyn Hammond of Columbia and Beth Broach of Lake City; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2005, at Earle United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Robert Huggins. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.
